Coaching

Life coaching is a partnership built on this premise: you are creative, resourceful, and whole. The wisdom you need to live joyfully is already present, inside of you.

I don’t arrive to a coaching session as the expert. Instead, my job as a coach is to be completely present with you—to meet you where you are and offer empathy and curiosity. When is the last time somebody held space for you in that way? What was the impact?

Like acorns, we carry a blueprint inside us, but to grow into our strongest and most beautiful selves, we need time, space, warmth, and light. In each coaching session, I strive to offer exactly that.

We’ll begin our work with questions. Where are you feeling stuck? What do you long for? When do you feel most alive?

If you’re navigating a big life change, I’m here to hold space for the thoughts and feelings that come up. If you’re feeling stuck or trying to decide what to do next, I’m here to help you explore your options and stretch beyond them into possibilities you haven’t yet allowed yourself to consider. If you’re working hard toward a goal but life seems to keep conspiring against you, I’m here to be a brainstorming buddy, a cheerleader, and a gentle accountability partner.

Regardless of your goals for coaching, you are in the driver’s seat, and I am here to support you in accessing your inner navigation. I’ll do this through deep listening, thoughtful questions, and—depending on your needs and preferences—guided visualizations, meditations, sensory connection with nature, or other creative tools.

Coaching Options

  • Remote Coaching

    Meet with me from the comfort of your favorite couch! I'm available for 60-minute sessions over the phone or on Zoom.

  • Nature-Immersive Coaching

    Come meet me in the woods! Either literally, or over the phone, with us each in our respective green space. I'll blend forest bathing with life coaching to create an extra nourishing, embodied, and inspiring experience tailored specifically to you.

  • Walk-and-Talk Coaching

    If you live in central Kentucky, then let's meet for a walk-and-talk life coaching session in a local park. Sitting on a bench is lovely, too!

FAQ

  • Coaching and therapy share some common features. For example, you can expect both therapists and coaches to ask you questions and reflect back what they hear you say. Therapy often focuses heavily on the distant past, though—for example, on childhood traumas. In coaching, our primary focus is on what’s happening for you in the present, on your goals for the future, and on the paths you might take to get from here to there. If you need help processing a past trauma or are seeking a mental health diagnosis, then please seek therapy before or in conjunction with coaching. 

  • I am available to meet with clients in several different ways: 1) over the phone, 2) on Zoom, or 3) in person for walk-and-talk sessions in local green space. (We can sit on a bench, too!)

    Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, depending on what we're focusing on, how we're meeting, and your preferred approach.

    I am also so excited to offer nature-immersive coaching sessions, which blend elements of forest bathing with life coaching. These sessions are 90 minutes long and can take place either over the phone or in person.

  • Price varies depending on whether a session takes place over Zoom, phone, or in-person, and also depending on whether you book them individually or in a package. Details are posted on the Pricing & Policies page. Please note that I work with a limited number of deeply discounted clients.
